Is Cellar free?
Cellar is free to download and comes with free scans to get you started. A Cellar Pro subscription unlocks unlimited scanning and the full collection features. There is no trial that converts automatically, and you can cancel anytime.
What can Cellar identify?
Still, sparkling, and fortified wines from around the world. Point the camera at the front label and Cellar names the producer, cuvee, and vintage, then fills in market value and drink advice.
How does scanning work?
Take one clear photo of the front label. Cellar reads it and matches it to the exact wine, so you get an answer in seconds without typing anything.
Can I import my collection from another app?
Yes. Cellar imports from CellarTracker, Vivino, a generic CSV or TSV, and Cellarion JSON. Export the file from the other app, open Import Collection in your profile, and pick it from Files. Rack and bin columns are recognised too, so bottles land in the right slots.
Does Cellar value my wine?
Yes. Each bottle shows an estimated market value and how your collection total is trending, so you always know what your cellar is worth.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can start scanning right after you download the app, and your collection lives on your device.
Is my data private?
Your cellar stays on your device. Label photos are used only to identify the wine, and we never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Is Cellar on Android?
Cellar is built for iPhone and available on the App Store. An Android version is not available yet.
